Self-Portrait
Students are to use themselves and/or personal objects that best express a concept or idea about “I” using a predetermined environment. The environment is everything in this assignment so pick your location well. Show what you have learned this semester by using color, the “depth of field” method of focusing and/or movement to make an outstanding photograph that expresses “I”. If at all possible try working alone using your self-timer. Sometimes working with someone else inhibits your creative juices. You must shoot a minimum of 100 images so try a couple of locations and/or placements of yourself in the frame. You will be given instructions on how to download your jpegs during class.
