Exercise #1 Finding the Light (updated)

Now that you have had a lesson on how to operate a DSLR in manual mode lets give it a try.
Shoot no less than 40 (80 would be better) images, outside, during daylight hours.

NO INDOOR OR NIGHT IMAGES AT THIS TIME.

Try to photograph subjects that are in many different types of light. For example: bright sunlight, the shaded side of a building, the shade of a tree during the brightest time of the day, the light after the sun has set (not a sunset image but the light from the sunset), etc. Make sure that you are using the camera in manual mode with the ISO set at 100 and you are shooting in RAW. Do your best! We will use these images to set up a LightRoom Catalog and make a digital contact sheets of this work.

What is Due and When: Contact Sheets of everything you have shot up to this point, you should have minimum of 40 images.  It will be uploaded to  EX 1 Contact Sheet folder on Google Drive as per instruction during class on Monday Sept 12th.  There will get instruction on how to make  jpeg contact sheets and upload this jpeg to our Google Drive.

Make sure that you have labeled the folder correctly as follows:
